Jennifer for Congress

Dr. Jennifer Booker wants the privilege of serving the people of Oahu to focus on providing affordable housing, increased food independence, and fair management of precious natural resources. As described in Idiot-Proofing Democracy, her broader goals include explicit protection of human rights and core legal principles such as separation of powers, due process, and separation of church and state.

She brings extensive experience in engineering, computing, project management, and healthcare to understand the complex problems we face and objectively evaluate solutions. Balancing the scientific side, she honors the insight and gifts from the Hawaiian and Polynesian cultures and will protect them at the Federal level. She wants the federal government to protect the right to heritage through language, art, and culture.

Dr. Booker recognizes and celebrates the diversity of cultures, identities, beliefs, and relationships, and wants government to interfere in those forms of expression as little as possible.
