Bio
Jennifer Booker started out with a passion for aviation, but her careers have wandered all over since then.
Education
She has earned four university degrees: BS in aerospace engineering, MS in mechanical engineering, PhD in biomedical engineering, and a BS in nursing. She earned a Basic EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) license in 2011 and Registered Nurse in 2020.
Professional Experience
Dr. Booker started in the defense industry then switched to aviation after the end of the Cold War. She dabbled in teaching and became a full time professor teaching computing.
Nursing became a poor change of pace, unfortunately since the field is very hostile to newcomers. She is currently focusing on her writing, and working remotely from Hawai'i.
Hobbies
Dr. Booker has done a little of everything. She has had licenses or certifications to ride a motorcycle, pilot a plane, scuba dive, operate a forklift, sail a sailboat, and skydive. Not all at once.
